Tracy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Qualified Mental Health Professional and a former federal law enforcement officer with over 15 years experience in the field of social work. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Corrections/Juvenile Services from Eastern Kentucky University in 1997 and graduated from The University of Kentucky in 2001 with a Master of Social Work degree. In 2007, Ms.Morrissey was licensed to independently practice social work in the state of Kentucky. Ms. Morrissey is also qualified to provide group and individual supervision to clinical social workers seeking to be licensed in the state of Kentucky.
Tracy has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, the school system, community corrections and has provided in-home therapy to children and their families. Her approach is holistic, client driven and solution focused. Ms. Morrissey has experience providing individual, family and group counseling services to adults and children addressing adult mental health, child behavioral issues, substance abuse, codependency, medical issues, grief, disability and basic life management skills related to divorce, domestic violence, trauma, loss, relationship conflicts and stress.
